Striking Clearwater Steelhead

Please join the Flathead Valley Chapter Trout Unlimited in welcoming Dan Magers, author and long-time steelheader for a program on his just released book, Striking Steelhead, a book describing 22 years of fishing for and studying the habits of one of the west’s most sought after game fish on the fabled Clearwater River in Idaho.

Dan’s book is based on 18 years of fishing data from 1,883 hours of fishing the Clearwater and 1,162 steelhead caught. If anybody knows the Clearwater River, it’s Dan Magers. We are super excited that he has agreed to make a presentation to Flathead Valley Trout Unlimited. If you fish steelhead, or just would like to, you won’t want to miss this program.

The program will take place at 7pm Tuesday October 16 in the public meeting room of the MT Fish Wildlife & Parks building located at 490 N. Meridian Road, Kalispell
