2023 October Meeting and Fall Newsletter
Okay, there’s a slight chill in the air, but that just makes the fishing that much better. Before you get out on the water for those final trips of the year don’t forget that our October General Meeting is coming up fast. We will have our meeting at the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Region 1 conference room, 490 N. Meridian in Kalispell on Oct. 17th. Festivities begin at 7pm and light snacks and drinks will be available.
Also, the FVTU Fall Newsletter is now available. You can download a PDF copy of the newsletter here, or you can read it online HERE.
Our chapter is proud this month to host Barry Hansen, fisheries biologist for the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribe. Barry will update us on Tribal Efforts to Restore Native Trout in Flathead Lake. The CSKT is in the middle of the Fall round of Mack Days, their biannual event to remove invasive lake trout from Flathead Lake.
We hope to see you all at our October meeting and/or out on the river. You don’t need to be a TU member to attend.
