Robin Street with 16 reasons why he never gave up on the Pine Grove Pond

On Thursday night, Robin Street was named a “Great Chief” by the Flathead Chamber of Commerce for a lifetime of service to the Flathead Valley. A well deserved award for his lifetime of service.

In 2011, Robin finished one of his most ambitious and unselfish projects. He dedicated the new Pine Grove kids fishing pond on his property and donated 13 acres along with the pond to the people of Montana. Robin oversaw the removal of gravel from the pond site near the Whitefish River and navigated the frustrating bureaucratic maze to make the pond happen. I doubt that many folks would have had the dedication and resolve to guide such a project to a successful completion.
